last time they had announced syllabus like 150 + 20 + 10 , but suddenly 3 days before CET they changed it again to 100 + 40 + 40. i think this time also 100+40+40 rule stays. and yes, they take half of our final year percentage. ex: i've scored 72% aggr in my final year and 160 out of 180 in CET. so that makes 66.66% in CET. they take 72/2 + 66.66/2% and allot ranks
Guys why dont u try CET Book for Diploma Students... by SSS publications...mine is mechanical but i finished 3 years ago and now taking up the exams...the book is amazing...i could have share the book with u but my branch is mechanical..
SSS Publication book Is only Good for Mechanical. I have got 3 books of CET for my branch(Civil) SSS Publication, EBPB, R.S.Khurmi. By comparing all the three, R.S.Khurmi's book is the best. Anyway it depends upon in which branch you are in. :) All The Best
35.. actually there is no rule like we should score 15 in IA and 35 in externals. that rule only applies in engg. so dont worry abt IA marks. if you score 30, they'll make it 35.

Hi Suraj Kiran, When is the result coming for April-May 2011 Diploma examination? I am eagerly waiting because i am going in final year in 5th sem. Thats why i am worrying also about carry over rule.
I think Results may be out in between 9 to 16th of july. You dont wait for result, just be prepared for CET. If any subject becomes back then attach the revaluation form copy to CET form.You will get Ranking and more importantly u'll get Experience like me :) It'll be usefull to you next time.

@Mudassir u r wrong. Last yr results were announced on 17july n b4 that notification could b seen but 4 this result no update till now. So, It wont come b4 20th.
i got the cet application frm a person who was working at dte, he helped me a lot for taking the application and for DD,,, And i just called him now asking that what i have to do if the results will out after 20th??? in the cet app form,,,
but guys i dont think so...i believe that result will be out on or after 20th july...if it is coming 2morrow then u win, i loss... but keep in mind i always win...

you'll get books in Sri Book world in Gandhi bazar. only one book is available for each branch i guess. query them..

well, i had called Diploma Board today, they said valuation is still going on.
i got a few info from a reliable source that, CET will be in july end/aug first week and counselling will be in last week of august.
SSS Publication book Is only Good for Mechanical.
