those numbers are not valid. i am getting problems in connecting those numbers. did you get the seam matrix?? 10% seats or 20% seats this time?? i am getting scared :(
I am also very scared. If its 20% seats for us then i will be able to get very good college but 20% is not confirmed. I got news relating to double in seats for diploma holders by AICTE in january 2011. NO contact no's are working for me too :(

@Chetan My ranking is just more than yours but my branch is Civil. I am waiting for 16th date on which counselling will commence because at that time i will be able to know the correct seat matrix. You will get seat or not totally depends upon seat matrix and the category which you belong to. You can get details about counselling in cet booklet itself.
what and which true copy? If you are asking about our original documents which we have to submit during counselling then yes, you should make atleast 4 xerox copies of them and take sign on all by any gazetted officer.

Just think about what to do students who are out of bangalore? Ex. Myself, i dont have Nov. 2010 marks card and just took hod and principals sign on a true copy. Last year my friends did the same thing and they are doing engg. now.So dont worry.
yes, if u dont get good collg under GMK, u can still go to GM, A, B, C stands for branches, B stands for CS and W stands for IS as i know. did u attest all the duplicated/xeroxed documents???

thanks, you need to get DTE sign on True Copy, otherwise they wont get u admission card, but you can select the seat,. you better get the true copy signed. yes you can go there, there's a big display where u can see all the selection happening.

I have selected a seat in MVJCE and the last date to join the college is on 29th August 2011 Monday.... However i wanna attend Casual Vacancy Round... So should i pay the fee in the coll or not?
Now my questions are....
1) If i pay the fee in the college and in the casual vacancy round if i get a different college..will i get the refund (the fee what i have paid in the coll)
(when i inquired in the coll.... they said if i don't pay the fee before the last day my seat will stand cancelled)
2) Or is it advisable not to pay the fee and finish all the casual vacancy round first then pay the fee....???
(When i inquired in the CET CELL, the lady in the counter informed me not to pay the fee)

Ans: Those who have selected the Medical/ Dental/ ISMH/ Engineering seat in the admission round are eligible in the casual vacancy round, whether reported to the college or not. If you select another seat during casual vacancy round, the computer automatically cancels the seat already taken in the admission round and also transfer the full fee amount paid during admission round without any penalty or deduction of fees. If you will not select any seat during the casual vacancy round, the old seat will remain in your name, on that day the date of admission printed on the admission order will be extended. (Candidates need not to worry about the extension of date and seat will not be cancelled.)
Finally some relief... I hope it is applicable for diploma students as well...

it is good. but many new colleges have overtook it. autonomous is good but many companies wont go out of bangalore/mysore.
